IV sedation can be better than other methods of sedation because it is more reliable, it is easily controlled, it is adjusted to each individual and the relaxation is deeper.
During IV sedation, you remain conscious and will be able to understand and respond to requests from the dentist. However, you may not remember much or anything at all from your visit.
Because IV sedation is safe and predictable, we can use it to perform any dental treatment including but not limited to tooth extraction, restoring gums, fillings, root canals, crowns and or dentures.
