3 Ways Our Dental Technology can give you a Dazzling Smile

When you hear about “technology” being used in a dental office, the first thing you might think is “expensive”, “lengthy”, or even “over the top”. At Murray Hill Dental, we want our patients to know that the technology that we’ve invested in is able to help us transform dental care for the better…regardless of who we treat! Here are some examples of how technology is transforming dental care and giving patients better results than ever!

CEREC Dental Crowns

Dental crowns used to take at least two visits, about 2 weeks apart. That meant patients had to wear a temporary crown before their permanent crown was ready for delivery. With CEREC technology, a 3D virtual impression is translated into our on-site lab machine that creates a perfect-fitting custom crown every time. Enjoy same-day crowns when you choose a CEREC treatment!

Advanced Oral Cancer Screenings

Traditional oral cancer screenings are performed visually and manually and can allow microscopic, precancerous tissue to still go undiagnosed at an early stage. With advanced oral cancer screening technology, abnormal cells can be pinpointed before they’re visible to the naked eye. Earlier detection means less-invasive treatments with a better outcome for oral cancer patients.

Digital X-Rays

Most dental patients have been able to experience digital radiography already, but it truly is one of the biggest changes to dentistry in the last couple of decades. Patients can get quicker results, because images are instantly visible on an in-room monitor. There’s no more waiting 5 or 10 minutes for a traditional film to be processed, mounted, and inspected before you can get an answer for your dental needs. Appointments are now more time effective and patients are exposed to less radiation.

These aren’t the only technological advancements that we’re using at Murray Hill Dental. We have other advanced screening and treatment tools available for our patients. To find out how we can provide you with minimally invasive, higher quality, faster dental care – contact us today!
